The second half of the book is a manual, giving advice for first timers or for those who need help with recruiting others and general organisation of digs. Not to mention useful tips on the plants themselves and advice for choosing suitable plants for specific locations. Plants that give maximum impact to the context in which it sits whether it's helianthus annus seeds (sunflowers) or Solanum tuberosum (potatoes) !
